Pop Up Participation for NO MORE

We've had a love-hate relationship with pop ups. But it's slowly growing on us <3

Why we love pop ups?

Recently a customer at a pop up at WeWork Gurgaon said “I’ve fallen in love with your brand story”. In a span of 10 mins he went from I’m gonna think about it to ‘fck it, I’m buying the bag’
It's moments like these that make all the effort we put into creating one-of-a-kind upcycled pieces worthwhile
Letting people touch and feel the products and get pleasantly surprised at the quality. Seeing the surprise on the face when we say we offer lifetime repairs and give a buyback assurance. Watching them chuckle when we tell them the shoulder belt is actually a repurposed car seatbelt.. them telling us how they’re going to reuse our packaging..

Why don’t we do a lot of them?

We want to showcase our brand in spaces where people are willing to listen to our brand story and take the time to browse through the product range. It can be extremely overwhelming to compete with mass production brands who will offer lower prices than many slow fashion labels. It’s challenging when people ask what we have under 1000 bucks or assume that upcycled products should be “cheap” because the materials are “free.” Explaining that that’s not how it works—with a smile 😊—is part of the journey.
But we’re getting better at identifying sustainable pop-ups and places with more intentional audiences. Whether we can currently afford to participate in these is another story, but we know where we want to be.

Here’s to many more in the coming year!
