Over 75% of the raw materials used to make and ship 258.9 consist of perfectly good leftover, rejected, or discarded materials from large factories that would have otherwise made their way to landfills, eventually destroying our planet.

  • Primary body fabric - Completely upcycled from scraps from fabric remnants from production runs of Doodlage, the clothing brand.
  • Inner lining - sourced from the dead stock of an apparel manufacturing factory.
  • Webbing 1.75 inch – Seat belts rescued and removed
    from cars that have done their lives and reached the scrapyard.
  • Zip – Leftovers from production runs across various factories
  • Pullers, Trims – Small, mismatched lots lying in various corners of manufacturing companies
    across India
  • Thread – Leftover thread cones from garment/travel bags/ accessories manufacturers
